Roquessels is situated right in the middle of the local natural park of Haut-Languedoc and the plain of Béziers, close to the Mediterranean seaside. The growing medium of acidic low-fertility shale, combined with heat from the sun, seems miraculously to enable the vines to root themselves and get the Faugères to thrive!

How to get there: Take the A9 highway towards Béziers, then take exit 34 towards Pézenas. After Pézenas, take D13 road (towards Bédarieux), drive across Roujan, Gabian and turn right towards Roquessels (right before Faugères on your right).
